PECAN

Our Misty Gully Pecan wood chips are a premium BBQ smoking chip with very similar characteristics to hickory, with nutty undertones. A perfect all-rounder.  Pecan chips are a great choice for smoking brisket and beef shorties, but also lend themselves well to things like cheese and chocolate.  Small goods wise, they are a good pairing with Pastrami and some semi dried sausages.  Each 3L bag contains approximately 650-900g of wood chips, depending on species and relative wood density.

OAK

Our Misty Gully oak wood chips have a strong smoke on its own but are great when blended with sweet woods. Recommended for brisket, beef and venison.  Each 3L bag contains approximately 650-900g of wood chips, depending on species and relative wood density.

MESQUITE

Our Misty Gully Mesquite wood chips have a very strong and intense spicy smoke flavour. Goes best with game meats, beef and poultry. Fantastic for jerky making.  Each 3L bag contains approximately 650-900g of wood chips, depending on species and relative wood density.

HICKORY

Hickory has a strong and sweet, classic ‘smokey’ taste. An all-rounder, suitable for most cooks.  Each 3L bag contains approximately 650-900g of wood chips, depending on species and relative wood density.

CHERRY

Our cherry chips are best for poultry and pork. A very fruity and sweet smoke with subtle intensity. We love this with ribs! When it comes to small goods, cherry smoke goes well with ham, venison and semi dried sausages such as mettwurst. Each 3L bag contains approximately 650-900g of wood chips, depending on species and relative wood density.

APPLE

Our apple wood chips give a strong, sweet and fruity smoke. They're best suited for pork ribs and poultry. Excellent when mixed with hickory! If you're making small goods, apple chips are excellent for smoking bacon and are a great choice for Kabana. Each 3L bag contains approximately 650-900g of wood chips, depending on species and relative wood density.
